The civics test is part of the U.S. naturalization process. During your USCIS interview, an officer will ask you up to 20 questions from a pool of 128 β and you must answer at least 12 correctly to pass.
Topics include American history, the structure of government, the Constitution, and your rights and responsibilities as a citizen. A few questions β such as the names of your senators and governor β vary by state.
